Origin:

Bred by Jean Pernet (père) (France, 1874).
Introduced in Australia by George Brunning - St. Kilda Nurseries in 1882 as 'Soupert et Notting'.

Bloom:

Deep pink, carmine-pink shading. Strong, centifolia fragrance. Large, full (26-40 petals), borne mostly solitary, cluster-flowered, in small clusters, globular bloom form. Spring or summer flush with scattered later bloom. Mossed buds.

Habit:

Short. Small, grey-green foliage.

Height: up to 3' (up to 90cm). Width: up to 2' (up to 60cm).

Growing:

USDA zone 6b through 9b (default). Can be used for beds and borders, container rose, cut flower or garden.
