'C. 'Burford White'' clematis Description

Alpina Group, Atragene Group, Early Small Flowered, Group 1.
Bloom:
White. 4 petals. Average diameter 2". Bell-shaped bloom form. Mid-to-late spring, occasional flowers later.
Habit:
Height: 6½' to 10' (200 to 305cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 3b through 9b. Best in a sunny location. Can handle north-facing, cold sites. Plant in soil that drains well. Suitable for growing in a container. No pruning required. Shape or tidy up the plant AFTER flowering is finished. It blooms on the previous year's growth, so resist the urge to prune it in early spring.
