Introduced by Blackthorn Nursery in 1999 as 'Avalanche'.

Early Small Flowered, Evergreen, Group 1.  
Bloom:
White.  4 to 8 petals.  Average diameter 3.25".  Single bloom form.  Midspring.  
Habit:

Height: 10' to 14½' (305 to 440cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 7b through 9b.  Needs a warm, frost-free situation.  Plant in soil that drains well.  Plant in sun or partial shade.  No pruning required.  Shape or tidy up the plant AFTER flowering is finished.  It blooms on the previous year's growth, so resist the urge to prune it in early spring.
