Bred by Henry H. Marshall (Canada, 1976).
Introduced in Canada by Agriculture Canada, Morden, Manitoba in 1989 as 'Morden Fireglow'.
Class:
Shrub.   (Series: Parkland Series Collection)  
Bloom:
Orange-red, red reverse.  Stigma filaments are pink.  None to mild fragrance.  20 to 28 petals.  Average diameter 3".  Medium, very double, in small clusters, cupped, open bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Medium, bushy, spreading, upright.  Medium, matte, medium green foliage.  

Height: 2' to 4' (60 to 120cm).  Width: 2' to 3' (60 to 90cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 2b and warmer.  Can be used for beds and borders, container rose, cut flower or garden.  Very hardy.  Disease susceptibility: susceptible to blackspot .

Notes:
The seedling number of this rose (76F5J401) indicates that the cross was made in 1976.

Royall River Roses says this rose has loosely cupped, 2-3" fiery orange-red blossoms in sprays of 1 to 5... Large, globular hips in the fall.
