Bred by Dr. Walter E. Lammerts (United States, before 1944).
Introduced in United States by Armstrong Nursery in 1944 as 'Mirandy'.
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1947 as 'Mirandy'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Dark red.  Strong, damask, old rose fragrance.  35 to 45 petals.  Large, in small clusters, globular bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:

Height: 4' to 5' (120 to 150cm).  Width: 4' (120cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 5b through 9b.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.
