Bred by Dzejna Valentic (United States, 2005).

Shrub.  

Orange blend.  Coral-orange upper, coral reverse.  Mild to strong, fruity fragrance.  26 to 40 petals.  Average diameter 5".  Large, full (26-40 petals), borne mostly solitary bloom form.  Continuous (perpetual) bloom throughout the season.  

Medium, bushy, upright, well-branched.  Medium, semi-glossy, medium green foliage.  

Height: 4' to 7' (120 to 215cm).  Width: 2' to 4' (60 to 120cm).

USDA zone 2a through 8b.  Can be used for cut flower, garden, hedge or shrub.  Can be grown as a shrub.  Disease susceptibility: disease resistant, susceptible to blackspot .  Remove spent blooms to encourage re-bloom.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.  Can be pruned to maintain a shorter habit.  Needs little care; relatively disease-free and quite hardy.  

This rose was named after a very old wild rose that my Mom nicknamed Moonwalker 35 years ago. She'd say: "it just gleams in the moonlight..." this rose had that same "gleam" and fruity fragrance and that's the story of Mom and Moonwalker.
