Medium red Hybrid Tea. Registration name: Audie Murphy
Bloom:
Cherry-red - orange-red, ages to rose-red . Moderate, spice fragrance. 18 to 22 petals. Average diameter 5". Very large, double (17-25 petals), borne mostly solitary, in small clusters, high-centered bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season. Medium, long, pointed buds.
Habit:
Armed with thorns / prickles, bushy, upright. Large, semi-glossy, bronze-green foliage. 5 to 7 leaflets.
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default). Can be used for beds and borders, container rose, cut flower or garden. Vigorous. Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant.
