Introduced in France by Louis Lévêque & Fils in 1855 as 'Mathurin Régnier'.
Introduced in Australia by Thomas Lang in 1866 as 'Mathurin Régnier'.

Bloom:
Light pink, ages to lighter .  5 to 8 sepals.  Moderate fragrance.  Average diameter 2.75".  Medium, very double, borne mostly solitary, in small clusters, cupped bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Rounded buds.  
Habit:
Upright.  Light green foliage.  3 to 5 leaflets.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
