Bred by Peter Lambert (Germany, before 1901).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in before 1921 as 'Katharina Zeimet'.
Class:
Polyantha.  
Bloom:
White.  Pure white.  Moderate fragrance.  Small, full (26-40 petals), cluster-flowered, in large clusters bloom form.  Continuous (perpetual) bloom throughout the season.  
Habit:
Short, bushy, upright.  Medium green, dense foliage.  

Height: 1' to 2' (30 to 60cm).  Width: up to 2' (up to 60cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer.  Can be used for beds and borders, cut flower or garden.  Hardy.  vigorous.

Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).

According to Lambert-expert Dorothea Jungen, 'Katharina Zeimet' and 'Schneewittchen' in commerce are mislabeled (juxtaposed). See drawing from "Rosenzeitung". 'Schneewittchen' prominently shows ist golden Stamens, while 'Katharina Zeimet' is more double.
