Bloom:
Light yellow.  Average diameter 2".  Single (4-8 petals) bloom form.  Spring or summer flush with scattered later bloom.  Rounded buds.  
Habit:
Armed with thorns / prickles, bristly , suckers on its own roots.  7 leaflets.  

Height: 42" to 6½' (105 to 200cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Produces decorative hips.
