Bred by Jean-Baptiste André (fils) Guillot (1827-1893) (France, 1888). Bred by Pierre Guillot (1855-1918) (France, 1888).
Introduced in Australia by C. F. Newman and Sons - Adelaide in 1894 as 'Ernest Metz'.

Bloom:

Carmine-pink, golden-yellow shading, salmon-pink shading, darker reverse. Large, full (26-40 petals) bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season. Long buds.

USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
