Origin:

Bred by Charles Mallerin (France, before 1932).
Introduced in France by Henri Guillot in 1934 as 'Madame Cochet-Cochet'.
Introduced in United States by Conard-Pyle (Star Roses) in 1934 as 'Madame Cochet-Cochet'.
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1935 as 'Madame Cochet-Cochet'.

Bloom:

Copper - rose-pink, coral-pink streaks, stripes, flecks. Moderate, honey fragrance. 20 to 40 petals. Very large, very double, cupped bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season.

Habit:

Bushy, upright. Glossy foliage.

Growing:

USDA zone 6b and warmer. Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.
