Bred by Pedro (Pere) Dot (Spain, before 1947).
Introduced in France by Meilland et Cie in 1947 as 'Mon Petit'.

Bloom:
Purple, carmine-pink shading.  Flowers light red.  30 petals.  Average diameter 1".  Small, full (26-40 petals) bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Short, compact, few or no prickles/thorns, spreading.  Small foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.
