Discovered by Cornélissen (Belgium, before 1864).

Class:

Bourbon.

Bloom:

White or white blend, pink mottling, yellow center, red veining. Average diameter 4". Large, double (17-25 petals), flat, reflexed bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season.

Growing:

USDA zone 6b through 9b (default). Heat tolerant. Disease susceptibility: susceptible to blackspot .

Notes:

Sangerhausen describes the color of the blooms as whitish-pink.
It is believed that 'Mme Cornelissen' at Sangerhausen (not in the collection in 1936) and L'Haÿ are misnamed and that 'Edith de Murat' at L'Haÿ is the true 'Mme Cornelissen'.
A copy of the rose from the National Plant Collection of Victor Lewis, Braintree, Essex, was planted in Sangerhausen after 2011.
