Bred by Francis Meilland (1912-1958) (France, before 1951).
Introduced in France by URS (Universal Rose Selection)-Meilland in 1951 as 'Mascotte'.
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1953 as 'Mascotte'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Deep pink.  Strong fragrance.  30 to 35 petals.  Average diameter 4".  Large, full (26-40 petals), reflexed bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Dark green foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant.
