Origin:
Bred by Herbert Robinson (United Kingdom, before 1949).
Introduced in United Kingdom by Baker's Nursery in 1949 as 'Lydia'.
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1952 as 'Lydia'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Deep yellow.  Saffron-yellow.  Moderate fragrance.  Medium, very double, high-centered bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Pointed buds.  
Habit:
Bushy.  Glossy, dark green, leathery foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.
