Bred by François (Belgium, before 1826). Bred by Unknown (before 1846). Introduced in France by Miellez in before 1826 as 'Grande Henriette'.
Bloom:
Pink, light purple shading, ages to lighter . Moderate fragrance. Average diameter 3". Medium, very double bloom form. Once-blooming spring or summer.

Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
Probably more than one gallica of this name...most REFERENCES describe a pink or lilac rose that ages lighter, but a few describe a very dark crimson or purple flower.
Sangerhausen describes the color of the blooms as light pink-cream/white.
'L'Enchanteresse' in commerce is probably 'Leda'.
