Bloom:
Crimson. Opens pink or light crimson, deepens to crimson.. None to mild fragrance. 5 to 6 petals. Large, single (4-8 petals) bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season.
Habit:
Armed with thorns / prickles. Semi-glossy, medium green foliage. 5 leaflets.
Height: 2' to 6' (60 to 185cm). Width: 4' to 5' (120 to 150cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 7b through 10b. Can be used for hedge, landscape or shrub. Prefers full sun. Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant. Prune lightly or not at all. Remove unproductive wood every third year or so. Resist the urge to prune this rose too heavily -- it doesn't like it!.
