Registration name: Charles P. Kilham

Bred by George Beckwith & Son (United Kingdom, before 1926).
Introduced in France by Grandes Roseraies du Val de la Loire in 1926 as 'Charles P. Kilham'.
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1927 as 'Charles P. Kilham'.

Hybrid Tea.  

Orange-red, scarlet shading, golden-yellow undertones, ages to red .  Moderate, tea fragrance.  32 petals.  Large, full (26-40 petals), borne mostly solitary, expanded bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  

Short, bushy, few or no prickles/thorns, lax, upright, well-branched.  Dark green foliage.  

USDA zone 7b and warmer.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.  Requires spring freeze protection (see glossary - Spring freeze protection) .
