Notes:
Probably triploid. The Swedish Rose Society recommends Duchesse de Montebello for northern Sweden. In their 2002 Catalogue, Pépinières Loubert assign a date of 1824.
Louise Antoinette Scholastique Guéheneux (February 26, 1782 Paris - July 3, 1856 Paris), Dame d'honneur to Empress Marie Louise of France, married on September 16, 1800 General Jean Lannes (1769-1809) as his second wife. Jean Lannes was instrumental in winning the Battle of Montebello in Lombardy for the Napoléonic troops (June 9, 1800). He was appointed Maréchal of the Empire in 1805 and 1st Duke of Montebello in 1808.
