Amling, chairman of the board of Clarence Amling Roses, Inc., Santa Ana, Cal., and president of Amling Brothers, Inc., Los Angeles, were held May 14 at Orange, Cal. Mr. Amling died of pneumonia, May 11, at the age of 75. A pioneer missionary in the Northwest, he began his pastoral ministry as a missionary at large for the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod in New Plymouth, Idaho in 1922.
