Serving the Kansas City Area for 30 years, Bannister is primarily a retail garden center with complete lines of annuals, perennials, trees and shrubs, etc. In addition to their retail store, they specialize in the cultivation of many varieties of Peonies. Their Peonies are grown at a separate location which is entirely devoted to that task. Originally, their Peonies were available only to local and wholesale customers, which still account for the majority of their sales. Now, individuals may order from them direct and receive the plants via UPS.
