Bred by André Eve (France, before 1969).
Introduced in France by André Eve/Roses Anciennes André Eve in 1972 as 'Red Parfum'.

Rambler.  

Red, yellow stamens.   (Rouge grenat velouté).  Strong fragrance.  Medium, semi-double (9-16 petals), in small clusters bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  

Armed with thorns / prickles, climbing.  Glossy, medium green foliage.  3 to 7 leaflets.  

Height: 9'10" to 13'1" (300 to 400cm).
