Discovered by Kjell Bolinder (Sweden, 2005).
Class:
Early Large Flowered, Group 2.  
Bloom:
Purple - red, light yellow anthers, white stamens.  6 to 8 petals.  Average diameter 6".  Medium, single bloom form.  Late spring to early summer, late summer to early autumn.  
Habit:
Bushy.  

Height: 6'7" to 8'2" (200 to 250cm).

The new variety was derived from an open-pollination. The seed parent, Clematis hybrid `Vino` U.S. Plant Pat. No. 9,290 was grown in a situation allowing for pollination by several unidentified pollen parents. The new variety was discovered in June 2005.
