Early Large Flowered, Group 2.  
Bloom:
Fuchsia / magenta, white stripes, lemon-yellow stamens.  6 to 8 petals.  Average diameter 5.25".  Medium bloom form.  Late spring to midsummer.

Height: 4'11" to 6'7" (150 to 200cm).

'Viva Polonia' was bred and developed by Szczepan Marczynski, in Pruszków, Poland. It originated from a cross, conducted in 2004 in Pruszków, Poland, between the female parent variety 'Matka Siedliska' and the male parent variety 'Warszawska Nike'.

The cross resulting in this new variety was made during 2004. The seed parent is the unpatented variety, Clematis `Matka Siedliska`. The pollen parent is the unpatented variety, Clematis `Warszawska Nike`. The new variety was identified as a potentially interesting selection in 2006, at a greenhouse in Pruszkow, Poland.
