Class:
Group 3, Viticella Group.
Bloom:
Red, purple shading, lighter reverse, yellow anthers. None / no fragrance. 4 to 6 petals. Average diameter 5". Medium, single bloom form. Late summer to early autumn.
Habit:
Height: 4'11" to 9'10" (150 to 300cm). Width: up to 2' (up to 60cm).

The present invention constitutes a new and distinct variety of Clematis plant which originated from a controlled crossing between the female seed parent, an un-named seedling, and the male pollen parent, an un-named seedling. Both of the parent varieties are non-patented.
The two parents were crossed during the summer of 2000 and the resulting seeds were planted the following winter in a controlled environment in Guernsey, Channel Islands.
