Origin:
Discovered by John Treasure (United Kingdom, circa 1970).
Introduced in United Kingdom by Treasures of Tenbury in circa 1970 as 'C. 'Burford Variety''.
Class:
Group 3, Late, Small-flowered, Tangutica Group.  
Bloom:
4 petals.  Average diameter 1.5".  Single, nodding bloom form.  Midsummer to midautumn.  
Habit:

Height: 10' to 13' (305 to 395cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 4b through 9b.  Plant in soil that drains well.  Plant in sun or partial shade.  This plant blooms on the current season's growth.  In early spring, cut back to just above the lowest set of healthy buds.
