Bred by Bees of Chester (United Kingdom, 1957).
Class:
Early Large Flowered.  
Bloom:
Mauve, pink center.  6 to 8 petals.  Single, overlapping, ruffled edge, twisted petals bloom form.  Late spring to early summer, early autumn.  
Habit:

Height: 8' to 10' (245 to 305cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 4b through 9b.  Plant in sun or partial shade.  It blooms on the previous year's growth, so resist the urge to prune it in early spring.
