Discovered by Unknown (before 1935).
Class:
Large-flowered, Mid-season.
Bloom:
Lavender. 6 to 7 petals. Average diameter 10". Single bloom form. Late spring to early summer, late summer.
Habit:
Height: 8' to 10' (245 to 305cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 4b through 9b. Plant in sun or partial shade. sheltered. It blooms on the previous year's growth, so resist the urge to prune it in early spring. In early spring, cut back to just above the lowest set of healthy buds.
